If you are looking for a flexible and efficient code editor, then you might want to look at Coda. Its rich functionality will satisfy all your needs when it comes to writing code, previewing your project or managing your local and remote folders. The application can also streamline your work and make everything more comfortable. You can have it up and running in just a few seconds, like any other OS X application.

Coda comes with a modern and elegant user interface and easy to understand controls. You can browse through your existing projects, navigate through local or remote files, edit your projects or bring up a terminal on separate tabs. The application has its own twin-panel file browser, on which you may connect to a FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3 or WebDAV server.

When working with code, you will enjoy many useful features, including tag auto-completion, snippets, the possibility of previewing and sharing the project and more. The application provides support for numerous languages, including HTML, Java or CSS and it allows you to choose a syntax mode for each language. If you are working on a website you can preview it with Coda's built-in web browser.

The application has many other features to offer. For example, its AirPreview function allows you to preview your project on an iPad. It is also possible to publish your files and track any modifications.

Pros

The application works fast and it is very comfortable. It has many interesting features to offer, which are quite easy to use. Its syntax highlighting, tag auto-completion and other functions will make your work much easier.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to mention. If you wish to streamline your work and make it more comfortable, then Coda is exactly what you need.
